Synopsis

Join poet Helen Ivory (author of Constructing a Witch, Bloodaxe 2014) as we explore this enduring archetype.

We will read a handful of writing prompt poems that explore aspects of the witch, such as the witch as healer, as earth-listener, as outsider and dangerous non-conformist.

We will listen in to our own witch-selves, channel our own writing power and maybe write a few spells.
