The John Ward Trio comes to Bungay Folk festival bringing John’s acclaimed folk songs inspired by the Suffolk sea and coast and his wider travels.

The Trio will be showcasing material from John’s forthcoming 10th album, as well as familiar favourites from their wide-ranging and eclectic repertoire.

They will also be doing a special presentation taken from John’s book and album ‘Congress’ about Buffalo Bill’s visit to Suffolk with his wild west show in 1903 with songs, spoken word and archive photos.

With powerful 3-part harmonies, an array of instruments and John’s show-stopping bodhran playing, the trio’s performances are authentic and heartfelt, entertaining and delighting audiences across the UK and beyond.
