Synopsis

Your generation.  You owe us a future.  A chance at one at least.

Alice, a glaciologist, returns from Antarctica – back home to her daughter Alba and her mother Eve.  There's been a flood, a new romance and now a strange gift.  It’s 1.30am.  Alba sleeps.  Eve has never been more awake.  And Alice?  Maybe those cracks she discovered in the Antarctic ice are calling her to go back…

Award-winner Martha Loader takes us to the very boundaries of love in the age of climate catastrophe.  Explosive, tender and often hilarious, Albatross asks us what we’re willing to sacrifice for a better future.
