A raunchy, true-crime folk-horror comedy of 1980s England, The Great Satanic Swindle is a story about two friends who challenged what it means to believe in something – and someone – no matter how irrational.

Author and spoken-word artist Justin Hopper tells a story that is at once utterly unbelievable and entirely true.

Justin P. Hopper is an American-British writer working at the intersection of uncanny landscapes, memory and myth. His work includes books (The Old Weird Albion; Obsolete Spells), spoken-word recording projects (Chanctonbury Rings and The Path, Ghost Box Records) and live performances (incl. Barbican, Brighton Festival, National Gallery, Spill Festival).
