The Saxons are coming to the Fisher! Join the National Trust’s Sally Sibley for a thrilling evening of history and archaeology as we delve into the secret history of Suffolk’s world-famous Saxon burial site. The National Trust’s portable antiquities team are also bringing along some replica pieces for a hands-on look at life in dark-age Suffolk, and the evening concludes with a screening of The Dig (2021), directed by Simon Stone and starring Carey Milligan as Edith Pretty and the indomitable Ralph Fiennes as Basil Brown.
