The WVFC are delighted to present an evening with Chris Fox. Marking rapid progress through the UK folk and roots scene with his song-writing, vocals and mastery of the loop pedal, Chris won the Lichfield Folk Festival song writing competition in 2019. Genre-defying and hard to pigeonhole, his perceptive lyrics reflect overlooked stories in everyday life. He underpins his lyrics with a variety of musical styles ranging the roots lexicon of folk, blues, country and Americana.  A modern-day troubadour, Chris has released three EPs and one studio album to wide acclaim, and appears at the Fisher with John Parker on double bass.
