Jumping on to the local music scene in 2021 and making a terrific splash was not a chance decision for

the up and coming Bungaybased band Pearll, fronted by singer/songwriter Chloe Drew-Batty. A year of

intense creativity in 2020 gave birth to the band which has already gathered wide support at outdoor

summer gigs, lunchtime events, local radio, New Rock at Thorington, Castle Fest and a feature on BBC

Look East. The music is fresh, gorgeously melodic

with an edge of steel – Drew-Batty’s lyrics truly break the mould and are beautifully delivered with a

voice that reaches us all.
