Luke Wright & John Osborne

Auditorium 115 Plan, Saturday 5 Oct 2024, 19:30  - ends at 21:00

Luke and John are back with a new show of poems to raise money for The Fisher Theatre.

John Osborne is a poet and writer based in Norwich. He is a writer of Sky sitcom Afterhours, which stared John Thompson and Ardal O’Hanlon, and six half an hour specials on BBC Radio 4.

He recently played to a sold-out Norwich Playhouse with his new show Norwich: A Love Story. Stuart Maconie said of his work: "A lovely, engaging writer, finding the joyous in the everyday.”

Luke Wright is an award-winning poet who sometimes moonlights as a presenter on BBC Radio 4. For twenty-five years he’s toured the world with his unique brand of big-hearted brash poetry. His last show Luke Wright’s Silver Jubilee was a smash hit, earning a clutch of five-star reviews. The Telegraph said: “A streetwise panache that puts dusty laureates to shame and a sardonic comic verve to rival Stewart Lee.” His new show Joy tours the UK until June 2025.
