My Neighbour (15)

Auditorium 115 Plan, Saturday 15 Oct 2022, 19:30  - ends at 21:30

My Neighbour is a tale from the southern Mediterranean island of Sardinia, where a mother has been abandoned by her partner to struggle with a two year-old toddler suffering from development disorders. Isolated, marginalised, and bewildered, the scorching summer sun cannot lift her darkening mood as she makes elaborate plans for her suicide. Then one day a handsome neighbour appears, with a lonely, tearaway son, and her life begins to change.

Milena Agus is a bestselling Italian writer and lives in Cagliari, Sardinia, where she teaches history and Italian at a secondary school.
