A Fabulous Work in Progress (U)

Auditorium 115 Plan, Thursday 29 Jun 2023, 19:30  - ends at 21:30

Beryl and Clive is a comedy ‘work in progress’ about an amusing couple who love to express themselves creatively in ways which lead to hilarious consequences. So far the narrative explores relationships, ‘believing in yourself’, and creative expression. We anticipate the play being fully formed within the coming 9 -12 months.

We will be developing original music and working with some fantastic artists to help create the show, including John Wright (award-winning international teacher, theatre-maker and author), pianist and composer, James Pearson (Artistic Director at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club), Adrian Cave (international tenor opera singer), Caroline Mummery (Royal Ballet School), and Samuel Gaulier (writer and director G&G).

During this performance we will present some of the ideas we are working on for the play followed by a Q & A when we will be delighted to talk all things comedy, clown and theatre! We absolutely welcome feedback to assist in further development.

If you like a giggle and are also interested in how comedy, clown and theatre is created, please come along.
