New Black Shuck Encounters - Norfolk Folklore Society

The Norfolk Folklore Society presents:

A Day of the Strange and Supernatural.

A spectral hound with eyes like burning coals, prowling the lanes, shorelines and churchyards of East Anglia… Black Shuck has long haunted the folklore of this region – but his story is far from finished.

In this thrilling opening talk for the Black Shuck Festival, join Stacia and Siofra of the Norfolk Folklore Society as they unveil a series of new and unsettling encounters with East Anglia’s most infamous phantom.

With eyewitnesses joining them live on stage, and photographic evidence, this is Shuck as you’ve never met him.

The Norfolk Folklore Society is a community of folklorists, magic-users, stone-spotters, paranormal investigators, cryptozoologists and curious souls with a cult podcast following and a mission to uncover the strange and uncanny heart of East Anglia.

Formerly Weird Norfolk, the pair’s work is a love letter to the folklore and hidden histories of the region, told with humour and a healthy respect for things that go bump in the night.

This talk will be recorded live for the internationally-renowned Norfolk Folklore Society Podcast.

Be there when the next chapter in Shuck’s story is written.
