Akenfield - BFC (12A)
6pm for 2 course meal, 7.30pm film only
An innovative film which has become a part of East Anglian history.
In 1974, the people of a Suffolk village acted out the stories of their lives and the lives of their forebears. Though the film was inspired by Ronald Blythe’s classic book, the cast invented their own dialogue.
The action centres on the funeral of Old Tom, and travels through the past, present and future of the rural community.
Menu - Main Course:
Cottage pie
Dessert:
Sponge Pudding and Custard
Vegetarian/Vegan option available but must be booked in advance as all food is purchased and prepared to order.
